Don't Need much HP to be competitive on a road course! Only need about 400 to 450HP Flywheel! The Bi-turbo Porsche's can get up to 650HP Flywheel!

The GTR did Nuremberg Ring with only 480HP Flywheel and set the 7 minutes record over the Porsche!

To have fun you don't need excessive power, but just enough!

Your car would be fun on a road course just the way it is!
Well, maybe a sticky set of tires.

Like my car now! I'm at 350HP and to be honest, I'm happy! Pulls hard enough for me! My goal is 500whp, but I might call it quits at 500HP flywheel to be honest! That's 425whp! The TQ would be 525ftlbs!

That would be a very fun car to drive!

500HP Flywheel 525ftlbs TQ!

To get to 500HP Flywheel I need 32psi of boost! That's not a problem for the stock long block! Just need a bigger intercooler!

Yeah so that's it guys! That's my goal! 510HP Flywheel and it works out to be 486ftlbs TQ! The 525TQ was wrong! Sorry bout that!

What do you thinl Straybullit? Sound reasonable?

510HP Flywheel is 434whp! TQ is 486lbsft TQ!

So I'm all good on fuel and stock injectors! Their good for 475whp!

Opinions??

There is no way I'm giving up this 2.3L! It can keep up with the 3.5L no problem! It would be a waste of money to do that swap! I'm not a fool!!

Hey guys!! It's been a little rough going! I'm getting 22psi, and some how I'm trapping out pretty slow! 14.8 @ 96mph , 15.0 @ 96mph
0 to 60mph is 6.7 seconds with a 2.1 60ft!

Track apps isn't being accurate for some reason!

Its not making any sense! When I ran my 14.3 et at 96mph I had on the full stock exhaust! Every since I chopped it after the CAT, I've never gotten close to 14.3et again!

So two things! I need to install a new exhaust system with some sort of back pressure! Obviously the back pressure helps the TQ! 96mph shows me making only 256whp! But that's impossible cause I'm getting the full 22psi!

I'll do 2 more final runs after I get gas, but it looks like either Track apps is off the mark, or not having a full exhaust has hindered my HP and TQ numbers!

The seat of the pants feels faster to me! I know what fast feels like, and at 22psi it feels faster! I'll have to figure it out Rap126! Don't mean to let you down man! I'm going to eat those pancakes for you anyway, cause I really do like your love for the Ecoboost!! Thumbs!!!

Hey guys! With a 2.1 60ft how in the world can it be a 15.0et at 96mph? Its weird! OK 2 more runs! At least I'm getting some practice on my launch! You really have to use Traction Control, because with out it the tires spin on launch and the car gets squirrelly!!

I need some opinions on the exhaust in regards to it being needed for the back pressure! Most guys at the drag strip run a small dump exhaust! I don't want to believe that Tack Apps is not accurate! But something real ridiculous is going on! Please give feed back and opinions! Thanks!!

1. You do not need back pressure, back pressure is always bad.

2. You removed your exhaust and are confusing the stock tune, which is hurting performance.

3. You jacked with the wastegate and removed preload, which like i told you, is hurting performance.

4. Say it with me again - boost is not related to performance. The car is chasing a load target, not a boost target, your boost may change but your overall horsepower will not. We've gone over this like a dozen times by now... jack with **** all you want, you will not see gains until you get a tune.

OMG guys!! I did it! I got a 14.9et at 98mph! LOL! That's the fastest trap speed this car has ever done!

So Track Apps is lying guys!

98mph means my HP is 276whp! Something is wrong with Track APPS! THIS IS WEIRD!

Not brave enough to say sorry Voltwings? Your looking for reasons to doubt me, when I'm being honest about everything! Thinking that you guys will have positive input on helping me get to 13's! For some reason this community is full if doubters and think they know everything, when I'm doing the actual leg work for the Ecoboost, and sharing with you the results good or bad! I have not ng to hide! This is the first instance that I m at odds with Track Apps! People have said its not all that accurate, and I think I might be leaning in that direction! Which places going to the actual track mandatory!

If I can't get a clean apology from Voltwings, I may have to discontinue my contributions to this website and look for another home where the people aren't trying to knock you for trying! That's call I'm doing is trying to get the most out of the car without a hand held tuner! Everyone around here look for reasons to say its because of this or that!

I'm really disappointed with Voltwings, and will give him the rest of the day to apologize! If he doesn't, then don't expect me to give this website inside information in the Ecoboost ever again! You should be man enough to say sorry Voltwings! I'm shocked!

13.3et is 100mph! So 98mph has to be a high 13! Yep 98mph is a 13.6 ET guys! Track Apps is full of **** and cheated me out of respect, and ruined a good friendship between me and Voltwings!

Hey Rap126! I did it man! I ran a 13.6 @ 98mph!
Time for pancakes true friend!

I'm stoked guys this is a beautiful day!

Don't worry about Track Apps!

I know I'm not going get the proper respect around here!

Just factory! That 98mph speaks for itself! I'm on the right track! I would do some more runs to try and get to 100mph, but its not worth wasting gas on a crowd that is hoping for failure and an excuse to talk down to someone like me, who knows his ****! I been at the mustang scene since 1986 when I got my first stang in highschool! I've owned 7 different Stang's of all body styles! Foxbody, SN95, S197, and S550!

People on the internet font like to see you succeed and are naturally jealous for no reason!

Anyways don't need a tune until I get a handheld! 22psi feels good and I'm sure if I keep stroking it I can get to 100mph! But I'm not wasting my fas to prove anything to those without respect!

This is what I've been trying to tell you MSP. You need an actual time slip to know if any modifications that you are performing actually help or hurt your times. Well, if you had a dynomometer in your garage, that might work as well.
Personally, I think that the track apps gizmo is a fun toy that probably helps sell cars. Beyond that, it obviously can't be trusted.... Unless your car pulls crazy hard the last few hundred feet, or something weird like that.

Yep! I am a a believer Straybullit! Track Apps is for the birds and I've lost all respect for it! So yeah, to the track it is!

I can't believe I trapped out in 13 territory and got cheated out of a screen shot! 98mph is comfortably and safely in the mid 13 area!

I'm happy I got that 98mph screenshot though!

But yeah Track Apps is a let down!

Then stop with all your speculation and just tune it already.
Anyone who is remotely serious about performance is usually tuned.
Let's go already.

OK Voltwings! What do you think of the 98mph? If I keep at it I could get to 100mph! It took 5 runs to produce that 98mph! Track apps lost its accuracy for dome reason! Not sure why!

I'm also going to run my exhaust out back, and not dump it after the cat! I'll feel better!

Still working on the launch too! Even though I can hold rpm, when I dump the clutch it still bogs down even at 5000rpm! This is screwing up my 60ft and 0 to 60mph time! It was fun practicing today though! Learned a lot!
