I'm not mad at you Voltwings! I'm just frustrated with Track apps! I thought it was a good tool to have! Now I hate it for disrespecting me!

What doesn't make sense? You got a ****ty launch. ET and trap speed are somewhat independent.

It would.

Also, MSP, turn the traction control off, that's why you're bogging.

Is that it? I tried that and the car damn near got side ways. I had to counter steer!

98mph should get me to 13.7 or 8 atleast! The 98mph was a 2.1 60ft!

Something is just odd with my 0 to 60mph too! Its got me over 6 seconds, when I should be in the 5's!

I would go more, but that's wasting gas!

98 is still mid to low 14s. Put the preload back on your wastegate.

think its the Traction Control! Its making the ECU ****** timing and cut spark! So I will make two passes in the morning without traction control, and try to launch with out so much RPM! Only 2 passes cause I hate wasting gas! I believe traction control is robbing 10 to 15% of engine HP! Could be more! I'll give Track Apps one last chance!

FastFord13

Of course its a driver mod! I don't go to the track regularly cause it is s 300 mile round trip!

I gotta be extra careful though, cause without Traction Control if I get wheel spin at high speed when the boost hits, I could be in big trouble!

So this is not a game guys! This is serious! With traction control on the car still floats to the left! With it off it could get worse! I'll update good or bad and face the criticism!

I'm almost positive its the traction control, cause I kept running 96mph no matter what the start if the start of the race was like!

I made 5 passes at 96 and only one pass at 98mph! So I'm almost certain that its the traction control! Voltwings pointed out that's why I'm bogging, but its also cutting power and limiting me to a certain speed, accept for one run! Looking on the internet the common opinion is that TC does cut overall HP! So we shall see!

No factory 72+ Hemi ‘Cuda’s. Although someone could’ve put the elephant in it.

This TC situation has me a little worried to test on the Highway! Reading the different discussion forums on it the overall opinion is that it does reduce engine power a number of ways! Cutting fuel supply, retarding the timing, using the ABS system to slow down the car!

They day for high HP cars. Its best to disengage cause it robs HP!

Testing on a track is much safer! So the common sense side of me is not willing to take a chance! So it will be in March when I head to the track! Hopefully they are open!

Hey guys! That's why I'm always trapping out at 96mph cause the system is engaging the ABS and retarding the timing even at 22psi!

Damn TC! Not smart to disengage it on a public highway!

You don't have the horsepower for the traction control to be kicking in . You have screwed up you EcoBoost, buy a tune

I agree with him. The 2.3 ecoboost motor has been around long enough that the recipe for building power has been established and it starts with a tune. The computer control systems used by engines today are extremely sophisticated and the 1/2 baked misguided things you are doing only serve to confuse it and cause it to put itself into a mode that tries to protect it self from damage.

The best thing you can do is get it back to stock and go purchase a tune from anyone of the tuners working with this platform and follow the established path for more power.

+1.
He can eliminate all this by just getting a tune, the building block to making power.
All of this talk and speculation over the last 40+ pages of this thread can be squashed with just a simple tune, then build off of that. It's really simple msp, you want 13s just tune it, problem solved!
Gotta admit though he is entertaining!

I agree . I have been looking on The Mustang Source about him winning a supercharger for his 4.0 he had. I can't find anything, I've been a member there since 2009 and searched all the way back to 2005-2006 and didn't find anything about it. I'm not saying it didn't happen, just saying I can't find anything about it .

Hey guys look on Google and you will see that a 2015 ran a 14.1 @ 98mph!

So I think its the TC!

I'm leaving to make 1 pass without TC to see if I trap at 96 or 98 again!

Hey guys! That's my best with the stock tune! 98moh is all the stock tune is worth even at 22psi! I'm doing what all stock Ecoboost do! So it will have to be a Cobb or Ngauge! Going to try and get ahold of Jon Lund and see if he will right vtunes for me if I go with Ngauge!
