Re: Kennybell or turbo

the KB will be better for downlow/mid range and more cost effective probably, the turbo will be more power but will cost more and not have as good a down low power gain.

Im not worried about cost. I have a 5.1 stroker shortblock and goin to be running 19-20 psi. Just wanting to put down most power i can its not a dd

Not sure the turbos are going to give much more power then a well tuned kb setup the question hear i think is how much do u like turbo lag or do u think the engine will see upper rpms on a more frequent basis? Turbos are nice because of no or very little parisitic loss twin screws are nice because of the "off the line tire shredding gidy up torque" whats ur driving style? Start there and once u figure that out the way the power comes on with the power adders will make the decision much easier to make.

I'd go KB for the boost you want... A 2.8 is way bigger than the whipped option for the price, and it runs more efficiently. They're the best made, highest flowing positive displacement supercharger out there.

If you wanna make power go turbo. No need for twins though. Run a good set up single you'll easily see 800plus rwhp

I like turbos and turbos+spray are very awsome. I would go with the turbonetics kit its on sale right now. Also garret had a real good twin kit. I myself use on3 kits they have never failed on me. Good luck with your decision. When I get my next car I would like to twin-charge and spray to see if the engine can handle it lol I have to much time on my hands lol
