Project Roush

First off I have a 2000 v6 mustang that has sentimental value to me. I wanna make it a project car. I wanna drop a 327SR crate motor in it, I wanna make a cool racing/ performing street car. Will this motor fit my trany if I have the automatic 2000 Gt trany?
Here's the site...
http://www.hillbankmotorsports.com/c...ate-motor.html
I will be getting the Gt 8.8 rear end and the aluminum drive shaft.
Also the 99-04 Gt k member.
I need as much info as I can to do this and I need as much help as possible.
