Had a Centerforce clutch in a lifted Toyota, tons of grab. That's the route I'm going, when it's time.

I installed the ram hd power grip an have had no issues, I did the quadrant an fire wall adjuster to...
The clutch grabs very good, an has good feel... however the pedal effort takes some getting use to... Its very very stiff.

Re: any recommendations fro a new clutch?

the Stage 1 will be about 300hp level so the stock GT clutch will be fine unless you plan to add more hp/tq down the line. No need for a super stiff clutch when you dont need one though.

Ram, Mcloud, Spec, centerforce all seem to have good reviews but I have never used any personally

I think just about any performance clutch is going to have a stiffer pedal feel... Just one of the trade-offs, I suppose. The Centerforce clutch was the same way. Had to replace my pumpkin gear, it couldn't handle 35's with the new clutch...

Check out SPEC. They have a performance street clutch, stages 1-3. Stage 2 sounds like the perfect street clutch to me. Stronger than stock w/ great driveability from what Ive read.

Any upgraded clutch will do for what your saying... When you change it don't forget to change the throw out bearing ( usually come in the "clutch kit") an pilot bearing... An you'll need to have your flywheel resurfaced...
You can get a steel flywheel for under 100.00 an not resurface...
That's what I did.

Thats what I meant by stronger, more durable not tighter, but note that I have no experience with them yet.
