Brenspeed 710 kit

Is anyone here running the Brenspeed kit on their Roush? I've also seen a lot of good things about VMP tuning lately too, anyone have their setup?

Also, on the Brenspeed package, it says fuel system upgrade, is that the Boost A Bump or the Roush fuel upgrade? If I get the 710 package it will only cost me about $770 instead of the $1,200+ something because I already have the Roush CAI.

I have the Brenspeed 710 kit on my 2013 RS3. Let me know what questions you have, and hopefully I can help.

Camron

Did you notice a big difference in power after adding the kit?

I started out with the Brenspeed tune only and left the stock intake to see if I was satisfied with the amount of power before I bought the whole 710 kit. The tune only made a pretty big difference in power and throttle response. After about 2 months, I wanted some more blower whine and wanted the look of the Roush cold air intake. I also felt like a little more power would be even better so I went with the 710 kit. The car is a monster and I have no drivability issues. The second half of the pedal is impressive while under boost. Brenspeed's customer service was top notch and that's what sold me. They took a ton of time on the phone answering my million questions and there was no persuasion to purchase. To answer your question, yes I felt a very big difference in power and still feel the car is safe with that kind of power especially because the boost level is close to stock. There are a few options out there so consider them all but overall I am very happy with it.

The Brenspeed stuff came in on Friday. I didn't go with the 710 kit. I went a little different route. I got the Roush fuel voltage regulator, Spine pulley, new idler pulley and the SCT X4 tuner with Brenspeed custom tune. Hopefully I will have some time to get everything on in the next couple of weeks.

Thinking about ordering an aluminum one piece driveshaft soon.

Sounds like you went with their 650 kit with the Roush fuel regulator instead of the Boost-a-pump. Do you have the Roush intake already, if that's the case you will be making even more power. From what they told me the 650 kit makes a lot of torque, similar or even slightly more than the 710 kit. Let me know how it all turns out, I think you are gonna love it.

I already had the intake with the Phase 2 package.

That's what I thought. You should be well over 600rwhp with that setup. I am also interested to hear about the new SCT X4 also, looks like a pretty nice improvement over the X3.

I can't wait to see the difference in torque and overall power after everything is installed. We took it out for a drive tonight and the power is great, my fiance said she can't imagine having anymore power! lol

I really need to get it broken in, only have a little over 200 miles on it now. Been so busy with our business I just haven't had time to drive it.

I have the Dynotech 3 1/2 inch aluminum driveshaft and a driveshaft safety loop sitting in my garage. I should find time to install this week
