Best upgrades for Roush stage 3?

Hello,

I was looking for a quick list of performance/drive ability upgrades that some of you have done. As it sits my car has the Roush suspension, brakes, exhaust, hyper rims and Cooper tires that come with the Stage 3. It also has the Aluminator block with the phase 3 kit. I have the JLT oil separator coming this week, and was thinking of maybe upgrading the stock shifter.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Get a new tune, should be the first thing you do. That way you won't get beat by a Bolton 5.0.
Roush leaves so much on the table it's pathetic. #1 new tune

He will have to swap to a return style fuel system with boost and e85 though. Most you can make on stock pump with boost and e85 is 620 ish.

Thanks for the advice guys.

That's funny I was beat by a Stock MY14 GT earlier this year. I started in 1st and spun my wheels after every shift. I was not happy. Who cares if you have 675hp if you cant put it to the pavement. I'm still learning how to launch it. Maybe the LCAs will help.

Any advice on the tune? There are a few i have heard about...SCT, BAMA, Brenspeed.

This (vmp) though I have brenspeed on mine and have 0 complaints.

From what I've read lcas should help. Roush even makes some which why they don't include them beats me. Those and a driveshaft are on my plans for next summer.

I hear the drag kit is good. From what I know it is a drive shaft and tach. It might be new rear lower control arms to improve launch.

Holy smoke! I'd say that's more than a few ideas. Very impressive list of Mods you have there!

LCAs and relocating brackets will help get a bit more power to the ground. A new tune should help increase the power so you are back to square 1 with traction. Enjoy!
