2012 Roush Stage 3 Brakes

Anyone have any information about the brakes on a 2012 Roush RS3 Mustang? My car has 22,000 miles on it and the front rotors and pads are worn out. Is this the norm, as far as longevity of the brakes? I bought the car used about a month ago, so I am not sure of previous owners driving habits. I guess my other question is, where is the best place to buy new 2 piece rotors for my car. I went to the Roush website and they list new ones for about $400 a piece. Is there a better source for these rotors, or this pretty much going to be the norm? Thanks for any help or information.

Your rotors r prob worn cause the previous owner didn't care to chance the pads. I guess its not out of the norm for your pads to b worn if u have that kind of mileage and they've neverbeen changed. As far as price there r many websites where u van shop around cjpony American muscle to name a few.

The Roush semi metallic pads are very aggressive and eat rotors. You can buy less aggressive pads and a one piece 14 inch rotors. Don't ask me where. I can't remember. It was a few years ago and I just made a mental note of it for when I have to replace mine, I have the same brakes and am about ready to do some hunting myself

R1 discs and aggressive pads....that's what I plan to do with my Roush RS3 during winter when it is stored in the garage.
