P-51B Mustang

I saw on line that there is a 2009 Roush P-51B Mustang for sale at Streetside Classics in Charlotte, NC. that has 10,000 miles on it and asking price is $47K. Does anyone on this forum know anything about this specific car and is that a reasonable price for a P-51? Thanks.

I was wondering if this particular Roush version had any know particular issues. I know these were a very limited edition and I saw on the Roush Performance site that these had engine mods such as forged internals etc. I have had a 2008 427R and a 2012 RS3 with no real problems. Also, do you have a better idea of what the price range should be?

P-51B Mustang

Owners I've talked to said injectors and engine mounts. Those are the only things I've heard of out of the P-51. Other than that they're good cars. Also talked with Roush reps the 3V doesn't really like the lower compression that the P-51 has. Reason why they only lasted 2 years. I think 33-37 grand.

IMO if you want a 05-10 car at that price get a GT500. If you have $50k to spend and want some crazy rare collectors edition Roush/Saleen/Shelby I'd say go find a 1999 Saleen S351.

P-51B Mustang

You can get a KR for low to mid 50s. They're the car to get for the 05-09 models.

Not if you want to drive it. But yes value wise, its the only one with an actual Shelby VIN.
