Very true. From my stock pulley and intake/tune to the 3.6 pulley, saleen extreme intake and a tune from brenspeed it was an amazing improvement. I'm content for now

Re: 3.4" pulley!

I am also happy where I am. I put down more than I expected, especially for the little investment needed (472/493). My MAF was nearing its limit but is ok now and my fuel system is ok for now. Any more and they would require upgrades... and I dont feel like going down that road anyway.

So would yall recommend going with the 3.6 instead of 3.4 if I plan on racing it? And is a SCT tuner with a brenspeed tune good enough for the 3.4 or does it have to be dyno tuned?

Drag or road racing? I got such an improvement with what I got I'm glade I didn't get the 3.4 for now. Most of there cars have saleen blowers on them so a tune from them is goin to be good but dyno is usually recommended

What I'm gonna do is get the B302 stroker kit from brenspeed. Its around 1500$. That is probably the best bang for your buck IMO.

I'll probably just stick to this setup see where it gets me, found quite a few cars on youtube with over 450rwhp so I think ill try the 3.4 and see what kinda numbers I get!

Hey I have been missing out on all the fun, hey Gibby long time since we talked LOL but I run the 3.2 pulley and I make amazing power and have so much fun. I also have forged internals but I have a blast with mine, I have so much done to my car it's just insane but if you get a 3.4 pulley you will be happy for awhile!

Well I think 3.4 would be alright I know guys pushing 10 psi and haven't had any issues yet but then again you will be straining your engine and taking engine life away but a 3.4 would be ok I think, and I run 3.73 Ford Racing gears, don't get motive gears they suck. I would think 3.4 is ok but like Gibby said call brenspeed and talk with Chandler and he will help you make the best decision, they always help me out!!!!

Well mine will do 85 at 2600 so you probably have 4.10's. There should be a stamped tag on your rear diff cover. It will say what's in there

Well it's hard to say cause I've heard guys making 500 rwhp on stock transmission but who knows how long it lasts? I wouldn't know to be honest what a stock trans will hold just have to drive it till it breaks I guess, that's what I'm doing at the moment cause my trans is stock as well

Re: 3.4" pulley!

Your trans is fine. Depending on what you decide to do,you might want to upgrade the clutch .
