What are everyone's numbers with their Saleen supercharger? I'm just curious to know?

Re: 3.4" pulley!

I sent it to 281 Motorsports. I only have 10k but because of the leak I didn't want to run it out of oil & cook it. Servicing is $650.

That's good! I'll have to get after it then. How long has it been there?

Re: 3.4" pulley!

The service only takes a couple hours. With all the back and forth shipping it's going to be about 3 weeks.

Should I wait with installing power adders until I get it serviced or is it not that big of a deal?

Has anyone put their car on the dyno? I have asked brenspeed and they say with the octane rating I'm right where I should be but I'm just curious to know what everyone else is putting out, I have the 3.2 pulley with Saleen extreme CAI, GT500 fuel pump, one piece driveshaft and upgraded rear end, also my new addition of water/methanol kit!!! I just am curious to know?

---------- Post added at 10:24 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:24 AM ----------

Oh yeah brenspeed tune!

Wow so we were pretty close when I had the factory set up, do you happen to know what you make with the upgrade by chance?

I don't have any forged internals and with the 3.8 pulley that's on there I only get around 4psi.

---------- Post added at 01:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:18 PM ----------

No I don't know yet, haven't gotten everything installed yet.

Yeah when I had my car I had the the 3.8 on and I was making 6 psi and with the 3.2 I make about 9 to 9.5 and I have forged internals so I'm hoping to someday 2.75 and 60 lbs injectors with a upgraded maf and have some real fun LOL but that's around 600-700 dollars but yeah it would be nice, then I would be well over 500 rwhp!!!!

Well mine was a little more expensive but it was 10,000 but I had to have my supercharger rotors pack replaced through Saleen because when my engine Blew up I had to have a little bit more done but yeah it still isn't cheap but if I could do it all over a different way I would LOL and that's awesome about the gears man!!!!

Well other then being a noob to upgrading major car parts I didn't upgrade my fuel pump and used a crappy accel cold spark plug and so I was leaning out at 4800 rpms and then with the plugs being so sh!&&# I had major detonation and it just had major engine failure

No boost pump or GT500 dual pump, I have the dual pump now and if you are thinking of upgrading down the road I would just save for that honestly, but I was running the 3.8 pulley.

I have 39 lbs injectors and I don't know what the issue was but when I put it on the dyno my air and fuel was horrible and they checked my fuel and at 4800 it was maxed out and running really lean so I don't know if it was the tune or if it was my plugs or even if it was just bad luck, I don't know but either way it Blew up and was really expensive to fix, am I happy with a built engine yeah but I wasn't intending to spend that much money, still paying the loan off for it after 2 years already and haven't made much of a dent with it so yeah just be really careful if you get a email tune to check everything out and make sure you are safe through all rpm ranges!!!

Yea I'll have to do that. It runs like a raped ape now. Kind of thinkin I should've got cams and headers instead of the 3.4 but hopefully I don't have a run of bad luck like you did.... Where was the tune from when she popped?

Well I don't want to say its a bad tune but sometimes its just better peace of mind, but I got it from brenspeed, but I run a brenspeed tune now and took it to a dyno for them to check everything out and they said that is a great tune so I'm happy but yeah its easier to pulley down and cheaper then heads and cams but I love the sound of cams if I had the money I would get one, I already have one picked out LOL

Yea I'm just worried cause I'm not forge yet. But miles at brenspeed has the same set up as me and he said he ran the 3.4 pulley for almost a year before he put the 3.2 on so I feel a lil better.

Yea. He said he knows he's taking a risk doing it but what does he have to worry about, he works at brenspeed. Ha
