slicks

Well the time has come to buy some good drag radials or slicks that I'm gonna use at the track only! What type and brand is everybody running or would recommend?

Stick with the dr's. They're a more forgiving tire to learn on.

I have had good luck with the m/t et street but the new hoosier dr is supposed to be even better. 1.6 60' is easy on the m/t.

Picking up a set of et drags and front runners today. Hopefully will have good luck on those.

Gonna depend on what wheels you have and gears

Big difference between the two. With that much gear you'll probably want something close to 28" tall

What size wheel would you recommend with those gears?

The wheel size isn't going to make any difference in overall height. I run 15s personally

I'm thinking bout getting 15's. I guess just get a radial in a size that brings it close to 28" overall...

...that isn't a slick. You would be running a drag radial.

It's not the best of ideas to leave hard on the stock rear

That's good! I'm probably low 400. Just checked out some m/t's online, the one you recommend for me was it the et drag radial or et street radial?

Just do the street radial. You should be able to cut 1.6 60' on those with no problem

Depending on size they're only 200 or so a piece. Around 300 would be a better price
