04 saleen S281SC

Hello again all. I have many questions about an 04 saleen super charged. First question is, I live in a state that is NOT emission controlled. Can I delete the converters without it messing up my engine what so ever? This car has 6,000 actual miles on it. I'm new to the Saleen world but love the vehicle alot. Also, I understand that Ford has several different tuners available through LateModelRestoration.com as well as others. They are offered for V6's as well as GT's & Cobras. How come there aren't any for the same years Saleens?

Yes you can delete the cats, just need a tune
Your car is a GT with a blower on it. So any reputable tuner will be able to tune the car. You just need a handheld.

Thanks Rapinator126. Reason I ask is the original owner purchased a new SCT Tuner and paid alot for it. When following all directions it simply said no tunes available for this car?????

Yes you will have to have someone make a tune for it. Where are you located? Any performance shops that deal with mustangs around you ?

You need someone to download a tune onto the SCT then use the SCT to download onto the cars ecu

I'm sure there are places that do performance work on mustangs in your area seeing as you live near a large city.

Lots of email tuners who can tune for that too. NOT Steeda or Bama but MPT/AED should be able to.
