Tire Pressure

Any one else having issues with tire pressure, I keep getting a low tire pressure warning light. Last time it was the right front tire, took it in and it was leaking around the inside of the wheel, the tech said that there was some corrosion on the inside of the wheel causing it to leak. He removed the tire cleaned it up and it was good for about 6 weeks, now it is low again!

Yes me too. I've had tire sensor fault alarms come up since I bought the car. Goes on and off every few days. Of COURSE every time I bring it to the dealership it goes off.

At 1st I thought it was a false alarm also, I backed out of the garage and just to make sure I walked around the car and the front right tire was basically flat it had about 12PSI in it, Good thing I looked before I started driving it!

The light came on again this AM on the way into work. I did a quick walk around they all look ok but will stop by the station and check the tire pressure to make sure! I wish it would say which tire was low instead of just a general warning lol!

GM has that and Ford or anyone one else making TMPS cannot duplicate it. Not only do the GM tell you which wheel but what the tire pressure is. Poor Mustang Owners get it in the rear end again.

Checked again this am and it was back down to 30 PSI from the 34 the night before, will take it back in to see it leaking from the same area again, may have a warranty issue with the wheel.

Corrosion on the wheel or a defect in the wheel in that area causing the tire and wheel not to seal. They put sealant on the wheel again, will see how well it holds up this time.

Well just spoke with Shawn at Saleen and he said to take it back to a Ford dealer and have them take a look at it. If they (Ford) confirm that there is a problem with the wheel then Saleen will replace it under warranty!
