If I remember correctly you have to buy it at the dealer and it costs $302.

I just bought a 2012 Boss. They come with one street key and one track key. $302 buys you another pair of keys (one each).

Like no other. Years ago I owned a 1970 Boss, bought it in 1972. It was great but this one's quicker. Soon as the break in time is over it's off to the track for me.

The standard key is for street driving, nice performance just a little better than a GT. The track key let's the beast out, 12.3 second quarter mile stock, 11.88 with a Steeda Cool air system. The track key adjusts over 200 parameters (cam timing, fuel control, spark maps, engine braking, etc.). Handling and steering are also effected. It handles like a dream when I put it through the paces during mountain drives. In a word ....COOL!!!!! I can only compare it to hanging on as the car jumps to please.

Re: track key

The TracKey is an exceptional mod for the track...especially for the money. The car really wakes up after temp hits 170 degrees !!!!!!!

I took the Boss up into the hills yesterday (without the trackey) and still scared myself silly, raw power, supperb road handling and no traffic equates to high speed, high adrenaline and off the chart fun. Ford built a winner in the Boss!
