Not yet but I plan on looking into it. I know you have to be the original owner but since my car is a MP I've heard tell that I could still do it BC Ford owned the car before I purchased it therefore I'm the first public owner.

I ran a 12.5 or 12.6 was my best and that was completely stock. I just got drag radials and I'm hoping for low12s or high 11s with some practice! I was gonna get orange but being younger cops look at me enough lol

Lmao how old are you, I'm 26. And a friend of a friend ran a 12.4 multiple times in his identical to mine completely stock on the stock pirellis

I'm not really into drag racing, not saying I wouldn't do it, but this car is built for a road course and I definitely plan on getting it on the track.

Yea I've seen 12.3 completely stock it was pretty hot every time I went so I'm hoping for lower times when it's colder and with the drag radials. I'm 21 (not sponsored by mom and dad) lmao

Yea I wanna do some road racing but haven't had time! The drag strip is like 15 min from my house so it's a lot easier to do that! They do road racing there too sometimes but I'm always busy when that happens

It would be great if we could set a meet up at the track sometime. I would much rather do something like this with friends, share advice and just have a good time.

I don't mean to thread jack I just have a question for y'all two. Have you ever noticed the center console under the shifter getting really hot at the track and/or rides longer than 30 min? BC when i went to the mountains I noticed my sh1t got hot and I mean HOT! I literally thought it might start melting. And ever since then I check it and after about 15-20 min of riding I notice it gets pretty warm. Obviously not as hot as it was in the mountains but it still gets pretty warm

Warm YES but nothing crazy, but after I wrapped the interior with dynamat it was improve by 100%, even during very hard driving it is just as cool as the rest of the car.

Or you could go to home depot or lowes and in the roofing section get peel and seal which is the same sh1t as dynamat 100%. After I bought mine a friend told me to compare it to the peel and seal and it was just same materials.

I'll look into it. What all did you wrap? The MGW comes with a small heat Sheild but nothing crazy. I'm so relieved that you guys are having the same issues lol. I thought something was major wrong. I will definitely be getting the Laguna Seca transmission scoop in the future.

Yes I also have the LS tranny scoop and I did notice the gears would go in easier at the end of a long day at the track. Before when the temps got up there it would have a significant stiffness to the shifter but with the scoop it was more consistent during the day.

I did the whole interior. Tranny tunnel, under the rear seat delete and under the driver and passenger seats as well and the trunk and trunk lid it rides like a Cadillac lol

Sorry I didn't buy the LS tranny, I have the shelby tranny scoop which is better BC you don't have to remove the scoop every time you do an oil change.

Here, it is the same price.

http://www.shelbystore.com/Shelby-Am...m-5025-umt.htm

I don't have a picture on my phone, I have to check out my wife's for the seat delete.

I did it myself from lightweight plywood and wrap it in leather from Walmart. Everything was around 20$

Thanks bro I'm gonna order that on pay day lol. BTW did you do a rear brace with it? Or did you just go straight to the roll cage?

I think I'm going to just do the rear x brace and rear seat delete

---------- Post added at 05:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:26 PM ----------

Do you think the roll cage stiffens it up that much more?

I will let you know when I install it permanently! I do think it will be a big difference and with my racing club I needed a diagonal brace roll cage if I wanted to move up to the A group. Also if you plan on going FI it will put you in the 11.49 and then you will get kicked out for not having one.
I will get a roll cage over a LS seat delete ALL DAYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

I know I will lol. That mountain trip was sooooo fun :p but I'd rather do it on a controlled track. It's safer and funner that way. How much does a track day cost you down there?
