the 26 spline input shaft. they welded the shaft to a 31 tooth gear well the welds broke and the shaft snapped about an inch from the gear with part of the shaft still in the hole of the gear. it's a mess with them they said yea it'll be a month back order well month and a half later phone call from d n d saying we can't make you a new input shaft we have been getting complaints of the input shaft failing. the guy said sorry hope you can find another one. I don't know if they have solved the problem yet but that was a year ago this month. so I would call them before you get your trans and see if they fixed the problem. I hate to see someone have the same thing happen it cost me $1000 for another input shaft. I'll try and get some pics up so you can see what I'm talkin about

WOW, that is not good! I am not sure but I think the setup I am doing is a bit different. Its a standard T45 full bit with street/strip package. I hope I have better results. If not my wonderful & expensive lawyer will have some fun!

ok that's the one I have. I'd call and ask if they fixed the problem with the 26/31 spline inputs. cause they told me they were stopping production cause to many complaints of failure I don't know if they said that to get out of warrantying my stuff or what

Re: My results after Dyno tune at Pauls High Performance (PHP)

Update: Well I came to blows with PHP, I was just sick of waiting for them and they never respond to emails or phone calls. I ended up dropping the "F" bomb on the phone with Paul's wife (not directed at her but about the whole situation). I called abck apologized for doing that and she said that Paul wants my car out of there, I said "you know what that is the best idea I have heard yet".

So I will pick up Car on Tuesday with Friends flat bed trailer, and also pick up my new Tranny from D&D whom I called personally and they are just way busy but they got it done finally. I will drop off car and tranny to friends shop and he will install new Tanny with all new clutch aprts like, ball stud, Fork, Throw out bearing, Pilot bushing.....

My car will be drivable again by next Thursday, I will stay out of high boost till July 27th when I go to Alternative Auto performance. These guys rock. They are way cool and both of mu buddy's that have '98 Turbo GTs went there to get their tunes and loved the guy and his ethics.

I will preform the PPVR delete prior to getting the tune. Should be good to go!!!

Re: My results after Dyno tune at Pauls High Performance (PHP)

Car is running GREAT had it out to a car show this saturday! Transmission feels so much better! Very happy now.

Nest steps:
- PPRV Delete
- Dyno Tune
- possible exhaust change, just to loud. Its hard to hear the passengers talk.

Yeah and that S55 is fast as hell! He beat me in a race already, but I am still breaking in new clutch and tranny. Actually both Mercedes are very fast. One has 490rwhp and the other 460rwhp. Its funny to see all of us drive down the road.
