JLT sri really worth any ponies?

I recently raced a 2010 mazdaspeed3 and feel he was a lil close for comfort. Only beat him by half a car. My 98 cobra has 3.73 and the stock paper filter. Nothing else. I even have cats, I don't think stock cats though as there's only 2. And imrcs are deleted. My ? Is what is the real consenses as to how much whp a JLT sri is worth? Than an sct tune (mostly for the imrcs delete) a lil later down the road. Also was planning on a pypes o/r x pipe, or just deleting my cats. Any advice is very appreciated.

x pipe will give you a great sound. and i haven't used a jlt. but you have to think logically. your car has a tube with a filter on it. your changing that one for another tube with a filer on it.. your car will see a few rwhp but i dont think you will see enough for the money. if you dont already have a tuner get one. they help your high rpms better than i thought it would. if you live close enough you can come by and try my tuner out.

That's exactly what I was thinking, its just a tube and yet they swear it puts out 10-15 whp! I never believed those claims, I know the dimple in the stock 98 tube is worth a couple ponies at most. What part of tx are u in. I might be in Dallas for training at the end of june.

cleburne tx. 45 min south of fort worth. the tune will defiantly liven your ride up
