Why not go to a drag strip if you want to see REAL before and after results?

Out of curiosity...why are you using 160 as your baseline? Wouldn't 1/4 times like was mentioned and a dyno be just as good while being a whole lot safer?

Awesome run bro! You will see a big difference from the 90 to 160 range when you get the blower on! Sick power all the way thru!! I am excited to see your results.

Well I'm going to do a 1/4 time too. I just wanted to see the difference in pick up speed at high speed.

If you can't hit 160 in the 1/4, you just haven't built enough car....

Don't think of the car like a foxbody, it turns significantly more RPMS....and it is built to do it.

i was thinking more of going from 14mpg down to 10 mpg. the car is already faster than most things in the town. im sure the supercharger will top it off well

If you get 14 MPG you either need to fix something, get a tune, or learn to drive.....I've owned 2 96-98 Cobras that were (one currently is) more heavily modded than yours. Both averaged about 22ish highway, about 18-19 in town

Re: 0-160 base run test before supercharger

epa estimates 15 city. so your doing good. and i drive a little hard. running factory tune 97 tune on 01 engine right now. throws a code for intake runner control but owell. but here in the hot and dry texas air. its hard to get good mileage... will get a tune when i get the charger. just dont want to pay to have it done twice

Make sure and budget for headers if you don't have them.

When you're just driving, you should drive.....when you're racing, you should race....if you race around all the time, you shouldn't get upset when you get 9 MPG or when stuff constantly breaks

oh I agree completely...I drive easy most of the time but sometimes I like to have fun....I was just saying my MPG's suffer more in my cobra than in my '08....I've never gotten as bad as 9 though and I hope I stay far from it!!!! haha
