I wish I had that. They would have to pry it out of my cold dead hands to get it away from me. It was a trade in and the car lot is asking $19,900 for it.

Owensboro,Ky. I just called about insurance thinking it would keep me from thinking about buying it. I pay $31.87 a month for full coverage. The termi will increase it by $13.02 a month. I guess I can forget about insurance keeping me from getting it. I'm gonna go try and test drive it and check out what payment would be. That will probably scare me enough by itself.

Re: 03 terminator

not a fan of zinc yellow at all.... and 550 could mean MANY things... I would talk to the owner and see if it has issues, for 60k miles if its in ok condition I wouldnt pay over 17k for it.

I would get a list of all mods and read this before buying Terminator FAQs

Re: 03 terminator

I'm with spec, I don't see 550hp without some serious things done. It would have to be a twin screw car.

I imagine it's a non-ported upper only car that someone claims is making 550hp. Probably closer to 450-460.

Re: 03 terminator

Yah for those miles I'd get the car for less or walk. 60k is a lot on those cars, and definitely something to consider when it is modded.

Your monthly payment could be several different amounts...it all depends on financing.

It's dependent on trade, whether you owe and what you owe on your trade, money down, duration of the loan, interest rate, credit history etc.

I'd say for if you got it for 17k and financed for 60-66 months it'd be ~300 a month.

Well I went and looked at it and they are actually asking $22,998 for it. I didn't even try to talk about financing for it. I did talk to the guy though that did all the tuning and Dyno work on it, he said that it had been babied it's whole life. He said it had a safe tune on it and the Dyno sheet showed 520hp and 550tq.

Did he tell you what mods? Those numbers are possible with ported eaton, upper/lower pulley combo. Should have 60# injectors, boost a pump at a minimum (gt pumps preferable), Mafia (prefer bigger MAF).

Yes he had a full list of mods done to it. I didn't get the list because the $3,000 increase over what I was originally told knocked it out of my price range.

If you offer the dealer that'll they'll most likely take it

This is the guy that tuned it not owned it that said that. He knows the two previous owners and has no reason to lie about it. There are some people out there that do build cars like that just to brag.

My buddy that works at the stealership said they sold the car for $12,900 because it needed a new throw out bearing! This pisses me off to no end! I could've changed that out seeing how I have to do mine anyways.

Not everyone tries to destroy their car. I would be surprised if I was the only one who just 'Drives' their car. If you constantly
"drive the hell out of your car" you are trying to destroy it, and you will eventually succeed.

I doubt you are gonna get any bank to stretch out a 17k loan for 5 yrs and a 300 payment considering the car is almost 10ys old.

Pst...people don't care anymore how long it takes them to pay off a depreciating asset. I was scolded on SVTP for calling someone out on a 6 year loan on their 03 Cobra...

If you find the right bank, apparently they'll still do it.

When you hear things like that it's amazing to me. Simply because writing bad paper(loans) is what got the banks in trouble to begin with. I have no doubt it just amazes me.
