Kenne Bell problems

I have an 04 cobra with a Kenne bell and boost a pump, has anyone had a problem with the car cutting out on low rpm part throttle acceleration?

Can you describe your issue a bit more? It kinda sounds like PPRV issue that every terminator has. What does the car do? Does it hesitate as you try to accelerate right after shifting?

It doesn't do it right after shifting. Its mostly when it's low rpm and i'm trying to pass someone, almost like it's getting too much boost. And it started right after I put the Kenne bell on it. It was fine with the original eaton. Let me know If this helps or not? I've been trying to figure it off and on for a little while. And I'm wondering if I just need to get a customized tune for it or not

Re: Kenne Bell problems

Yup that is the dreaded PPRV air bubble issue. I just did mine by myself 2 months ago. You have to drop your tank and replace Parallel Pressure Relief valve with a "Y" connector and new tubing. See pictures and link I have provided! Easy to do. i did it in about 2.5 hours but I had to drop the tank twice because I forgot to tighten one fuel line and it popped off. You can only view this video from computer not mobile phone

Re: Kenne Bell problems

Definitely sounds like the PPRV issue to me as well.

Re: Kenne Bell problems

I went with the 2.6 " big bore" with a " big oval" throttle body. Thanks for all your help, will definitely try this and see if it works
