Wheel spacers safe?

Hey guys. Just wanted to see what your opinions were on these. I just bought a pair of 1in spacers for my 18x9 rears from american muscle. Put them on and used a bit of anti seize for the threads. I guess my main concern is these things breaking on me and or loosing a wheel....

What about them makes you worried? I've nevet had an issue with them even on high power cars. I dont personally use them bc I don't care for the look, but a quality set from AM should be fine.

Re: Wheel spacers safe?

some brands are much better/stronger than others when it comes to spacers and how they are installed etc

Re: Wheel spacers safe?

Thanks fellas! I was feeling a little shake in the rear and was a bit worried. I kept checking the torque on the lugs but all was fine.. Finally took everything apart and found the culprit. AM sent me some lug nuts that didn't seat properly in the back of the wheels, just had to order some smaller ones. Had about a half inch of play in there. oops. she spins true now. Problem solved.
