Found my problem

Well I noticed I had been leaving a lot of oil in my girlfriends drive way and if u can remember my check engine light had been on and my car would shut off when I would floor it and put it in neutral. Well last night I decided to check and follow where the oil was coming from and it ended up coming from my sc. The problem was that the rubber hose thing that connects to the sc keeps slipping off. I tried to clam it back on and as soon as the clamp gets tight the rubber slips off the sc. I am very irritated. Lol. I can't get the damn thing to stay. Any suggestions?

U may have to replace the hose.is your clamp towards the end of where it. Connects?or is the hose note going all the way on when clamping it?

The clamp tightens up good but the hose fits on the sc pretty loose so even when I tighten it, the hose eventually slips off. I'm gonna call vortech and see if they can send me a correct size hose or a cupling to make that hose fit or something. I cleaned up all the oil with brake cleaner and left it all nice and dry. With a LOT of patience I was able to get the hose to stay. I know it will slip off as soon as oil hits it but for now it should be good. But my check engine light still doesn't go away. Do I have to take that off with the scanner?

The space on the sc for the clamp to grab on to is very limited. About an inch. Only a bit bigger than the actual clamp. So if I'm off by a little the whole thing just comes off while I'm tightening. I will try to have some pictures up tomorrow morning
