Recall 99 svt cobra

I'm buying this car today and read where ford had a recall for the intake and exhaust robbing a massive amount of power. My question is this. How do I know if the previous owner had this recall fixed. The car is showroom floor amazing.

The dealer can run the vin for you and see but Ford only keeps records for ten years so they might be able to tell you. But hey I was told not to buy a 99 and i did and it surprised all my friends how quick it was. What color is yours

If it really bugs u... u can look over the intake manifold for a green or blue stamp. They stamped all the ones they fixed.

Well I bought it and I love it. It looks like it came off of show room. A little pricey but worth it

That's a pretty good deal if it's in the condition you say it is. Most gts I see around 75k miles are 10k

There's some sick deals out there. Got my 03 mach 1. 90k miles on chassis, 28k on engine, with ported heads and intake manifold. Perfect interior. Exterior is 8.5/10 interior 9.5/10 for 8000$ in Canada. (Mustang prices hold higher up here.)

I bought my Bullitt with 3500 miles on it for $10k four years ago, good deals are out there. It now has a little over 15k miles on it.

When the frost lifts i'll post some picks. I was afraid I might have over paid but with tax season hitting I didn't think she'd last.

That was the recall I was talking about regarding the marks. The hid was just separate. Was looking for a good location. I may just make some brackets.

The marks ford made are little circles on the back of the intake manifold. Green for acid dipped intakes and blue for ported replacements. They use to say A or B in the stamp.but they wear off easy leaving a colored dot behind.

That's what I was thinking. There's not much room elsewhere.
