bored 4.6

How much can I bore my 4.6 out too? Good or bad idea? Wont happen today or tomorrow but just to know. You know?

You should be able to get 40 over safely as long as you don't plan on too much boost later. Why do you want to bore your engine?

Just to make it a faster Cobra and later on a supercharged bored out Cobra.

I wouldn't bore it out much. You gain next to nothing by boreing it out. A stroker kit will help but if your planning on boost, I wouldn't bore past .020 over. Boreing out cylinders is mostly used to ensure the cylinder is perfectly round and smooth.

+1. Agree. Maybe a fox 5.0 could benefit from bore but a boosted 4.6 next to nothing.

Well then in that case ill save the money and use it on other mods.
