Knockig sound

Have a 98 cobra and recently I've heard a knocking noise. No it's not the engine, it only happens while the car is rolling and I can feel it on my gas pedal... Any ideas what it could be?

I'm about to replace the brakes today hopefully it stops but I don't know if that would be it.... And also when I back up and I turn in either direction there's a loud screech, do you know what that would be? I just replaced my ball joints.

Could be a number of things. Check your tie rods, ball joints, wheel bearings, u joints.

Also jack up the rear and put it in neutral then give the tires a spin and see if it's coming from the rearend. Hopefully nothing came loose in the rearend but you never know.

This is going to sound stupid, but when I changed my ball joints I didn't tightened the tire all the way. Thats what was causing the problems... Would you be able to tell me what this would be? Every time I turn all the way to the right it pops like it would on a front wheel drive car and it sounds like metal on metal girding. Everything else that I was asking about is fixed I just got that now. Any idea?

Is your dust shield hitting your rotor or anything touching at full turn or is it while just turning to the right in general?

It's just when I turn all the way to the right. When I'm just driving and turning right I doesn't happen
