First cobra purchase need guidance!

I've found a few nice cobras. One In particular, a 03 black vert. Garage kept 32,000 miles, no mods(seemed like a big plus) and basically unmolested. He's asking 25k is this legit? What should I look for when purchasing one of these? Any suggestions, tips or guidance would be appreciated!

That's on the high side of price. For that price you should get all dealer paperwork and service records.

As far as what to look for it's like any other car. Check for leaks, worn parts, etc...

It's going to depend on what you think is a good deal. I paid 27500 for mine in 07 with 25k on it. It also came with mountains of paperwork...

Re: First cobra purchase need guidance!

I could see 25k being a starting price, but I would expect to pay more around 20-22 for the car IF it is super clean and very nice and well documented (never kept out side, trim is very nice, paint is not scatched up etc). Black is a VERY hard car color to care for so you can see real quick if its all swirled up etc.
