v6 to 4.6 dohc swap

I currently have a 98 v6 and wanna get the 4.6 cobra engine to mod out piece by piece. Im just curious to which setup would be best, 4.6, stroked, boosted, non boosted, s/c, 5.0, stroked, boosted, non boosted, s/c. Its a 5 seed and imma put the gt rear in asap as well as adding a cat back system with flowmaster 10s...

Personal ownage/Car shows but still being driven. I can do a complete suspension upgrade and build a 4.6 stroked to a 5.3 plus cams, rear end swap, and custom exhaust for 7500. Idk if I can find a cobra that cheap

Dayum, yeah especially a 5.3 with cams. That's gonna be a monster. Then in this case id say go with the build. What rear end are you going with?

But with the sale of your car and 7500 I'm sure you can find a cobra especially a Mach 1. Figure if your car is in great condition you could get at least 3500-4k. But that's a nice price, where are you price shopping. And are you getting the engine for free. 7500 seems low for the price listed for the work required. Really lik to know where you can get cheap cams cause id like to get a set for my 4v

Well I've looked at a loooot of places for the lowest price. I have a Mustang magazine that has a suspension package that completely upgrades the suspension for 2500. They also have the 4.6 to 5.3 stroker kit (includes pistons) for 1300. I can get a 2000-2004 4.6 4v from a local junk yard for 100 and rear end for another 100, then completely rebuild it for about 500. 300 for comp cams, stage ll heads, custom exhaust, 3.73 gears...

300 for 1400 comp cams not bad. like I said I'd like to get a set. and 100 bucks for an engine thats aluminum, thats very cheap. dont forget the 500 for the timing set your going to need, I will tell you this there are some things that you dont want to cheap on.
