cool, thank you. thats exactly the information I've been waiting for. highway engine speed has been my concern. I've got 4:10 gears in it now, so, dial my speed back a bit and I should be around the neighborhood I'm at right now (which is a little over 2k). cool.

2nd question. I can see you've done quite a bit more your cobra than I have. Pretty sure the Kenne Bell + other mods necessitated the use of a built 4R. I, on the other hand, am not quite as deep into mods as you are, bolts and soon an OE M112, which leads me to my question.....will a stock 4R70W suffice in handling what power I'll be putting out? (just as reference I have an 01 cobra).

Dru, you've been a tremendous help, I'm genuinely excited for you about this, idk where you live or who you are, but this sh&t is cool as it gets....especially for us that drag race. Anywho, I look forward to hear from you.

I am not sure if a stock 4r70w would hold to long under ur cobra. But you can find them in v8 ford SUvs so that I am not sure. But once you have made the purchase of an auto trans the kits to rebuild are not bad. My gear kit was like $300 from Lentech.

The biggest thing is the Torque Converter. Get a really nice one made. If you need one I can refer you to my guy in Detroit (he is great) $400!!

And I live in Grand Rapids, MI.
