vortech and a cobra

So for most of you guys know i was deployed and now that im home i saved my money while i was gone. I bought a vortech v3 si, complete fuel system and a forged bottom end. The v3 and fuel system is used. Do you guys think it would be a good idea to throw the blower on the car and make sure that it works properly? It spins freely and smoothly but i want to make sure its good and if there is something wrong with it i can get thr previous owner to get vortech to warranty it. What are yalls input the guy said it has about 1k on the blower when he decided to sell his car

If it spins freely and doesn't make any sounds then it should be good to go

Check the pulley for excessive play, in/out and up/down. You can't believe nothing you hear, and only half of what you see. If it turns smoothly tho, I'd say your good.
