I got the taillights, sequential harness, & relay from AM. The rear markers & 3rd taillight tint came pre-cut from AM also!

Rob15033, nice Cobra. Can you give me some hints @ tips. I got a 96 SVT Cobra. I bought the sequential light kit and relay from AM. They said it was a 15 minute install, but when I went to do it, I couldn't find out how to remove the carpet without doing damage. I want to remove it all from tail light, across the trunk latch to tail light to make it EZ to work. How do you safely remove the plastic plugs at the trunk latch area? Or do I not need to do that. I'd like to install the kit today, it's supposed to be nice. Thanks, Spiney-Dave

SPINEY- I usually remove the plastic clips (fake plastic Phillips screw heads). Pay attention to how the cast/plastic carpet pieces are tucked under the trunk weather stripping. I have never removed the entire carpet backing. Its a tight fit. Deep well sockets needed for some nuts holding in the taillights. Once the taillights are out, you have a chance to look at the light bulb filaments to ensure that they all line up parallel, & look like this: lll lll

FINALLY got the Spintec's mounted. Turned out exactly as I thought they would. Very mellow, purr's, growl's. With all 6 cats still on there, it's just a nice complementary exhaust note.
-I'll make a quick video this evening, then post it to hear.
_Here's an updated photo of headlights, exterior mods:
