4v tick?

I'm looking at a 2003 cobra and in the ad it says it has the 4v tick. What makes it tick and should I bother looking into it since it has this tick?

It's the driver head on 03's only. I've personally never heard it, however, and i've worked on and driven over 15 03's with all sorts of mods.

It has never been proven to cause engine failure but most people change to the redesigned heads out of caution.

Thanks guys. So opinions please. I'm looking at an 03 as well as an 01. The 01 has 39k miles and is listed at 12k and the 03 has 67k miles and listed for 17k. Which do you think would be a better deal and which would be a better buy?

Go for the 03, seems like a pretty good deal so long as its a clean title with tasteful mods
