New rims !

Currently have gt500 rims . Which rims should I get for my 01 cobra also what color ??? Cobra is red which rims would look good on there any ideas ?

Look on AM for some wheel and tire packages. Also look into lowering springs because you are sitting a bit too high lol

Yeah I think I might go with 17's and lower it because its scrapes with the 18's

I've had 18's on my previous 3 stangs and haven' t had rubbing issues at all. Just when i went 305's in the rear and 2.8' drop I had to roll my fenders

I have gt500 rims those rub in the front that's it .

It's maybe because those gt500's were made for the s197 and have different offsets

99 cobra r. 17x9 front. 17x10.5. Tire size 275/40/17 nitto 555r front. 315/35/17 nitto nt01 back.

They came off a Shelby gt500. I'm trying to sell them rite now .

1.5 all around is a good drop but IMO 2' is perfect

why don't you just have machine shop shave 3 mm off the
back of the front rims to give it a touch more clearance
