H&R race springs

Does H&R have a separate race spring and drag race spring? My buddy wants to trade me his "H&R drag race" springs for my cut stockers (03 Cobra) but I can't find anything on google or H&Rs website about drag springs, just the regular race springs. If anybody knows that'd be great.

Yeah I haven't found anything either. I was just worried because I like road racing not drag racing.

Eibach makes a drag race spring set up. Depends on which H&Rs you want to go with cause
the higher the spring rate the stiffer the springs which means you will lose ride quality.

I know. I had H&R race springs when I had my SRA. I'm just saving to buy a coil-over set and figured I could make due with those springs until then

Yes. I've already tracked it a couple times. I've got an old video somewhere on here from when I went back in January. I want coil-overs so that I can get my car corner balanced at some point. I want the H&R springs to tide me over in the stiffness department until I can get a coil-over kit

Oh ok sweet. Yes Race springs should work great for your needs. What struts and shocks do you currently have? You will prolly need CC plates for the front for alignment and extra strength for the COs. Corner weighting your car will be awesome and have you thought about weight reduction as well.

I've got the stock Bilsteins in the rear and stock GT struts up front. I plan on revalving(sp?) the Bilsteins and then ordering a set from MM for the fronts. It's gonna be a pretty slow build because I don't have the greatest paying job but the plan is to have most of my suspension work done by the end of next year. I've got a pretty decent alignment but I still need to buy a set of CC plates

Yes CC Plates you will be able to add an additional 2 degrees of positive castor so you dont have to run to much neg camber. On your IRS you can get the upgraded bushings and link ends for track use. I bet you have subframe connectors installed?

Look into Full Tilt boogie racing for your IRS. They are the ****e.

No subframe connectors yet. I want to do the Stiffmeisters full chassis stiffening kit. The FTBR kit is definitely on the list of things I want to do it just isn't a priority yet.

SFCs are a night and day difference in handling of the mustang by eliminating chasiss flex in cornering.

I'm definitely looking forward to getting some, I'm just trying to hold out for that Stiffmeister kit so that I can get all my welding done in one go.

GRC Performance FLSFCs. A local mustang shop for me.
