I've been wanting to do that to mine too but i have read a lot of post about people getting pulled over by the cops because they were tinted.. Go to American Muscle's website.. they have a few different options.

In Texas they have to be after market covers that are DOT approved not just spay painted, the paint messes up the reflectors in the lights.

you have a couple of different options you can spray them yourself and go as light/dark as you want to just make sure you cover your paint obviously or AM has covers you can buy and you can take them off if you ever run into problems with the police. i believe the covers are on sale right now on AM for 40 bucks or 50 not sure check it out. i think its a really good addition and makes the car look alot better

You can buy covers(imo they don't look good) or spray tint from auto store, or pre cut strips of tint.

I have the pre cut tint from eBay.

Lights on cloudy day.

Well my cousin did. So we didn't take it to a shop. It's pretty difficult unless you know how to use tint. I recommend talking to a tint shop and seeing how much it would cost for their product and labor. Then see how much it would cost for labor if you bought the tint and took to them. The precuts on eBay were $25 I believe for both sides.

I live in California, I have tinted headlights and tail lights, as well as no catalytic converters and no front license plate. Cops don't even look at my car, I have never even been pulled over.

+1, since the night shade is paint you can polish it and clear coat it to make it like glass.

Does your car still pass emissions with no cats? Or do you know someone?

I kept the stock midpipe, so in 2 years when I need to smog it I will just jack it up and swap it out, it's only bolted on.

If its film tint then it's super easy. Our tails don't have any curves so its straight forward

Mine was like filmy but we couldn't get it do settle flat cuz the tails curve in all directions up, down, left, and right all in one section. It was a little difficult for my cousin the first time(my tails) and easier the second time(his tails) turned out good at like 7 foot distance it looks good. Close up you sees creases but it's good for me.

---------- Post added at 09:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:24 PM ----------

Well I wouldn't say curves but it's not all flat.
