Might be the clutch cable wornout , had the same problem couple months ago until i coulndnt get it in any gear at all..

Mine does the exact same thing but only on first.
What i did was flush the transmission and got a better fluid than the original atf. It helped out alot more than i thought it would but but it still gets stuck, apparently it likes to fight its way in when there's a bunch of traffic.

Oh I should look into that !


Mines does it when it's real hot ! And I drive my car a lot during the day . I hate it when that happens in traffic .

Change your fluid asap bro. Im not sure what your car takes but i put synthetic in my t45. It should help alot. Most people forget that tranny's need fluid. And alot of people wait till it's too late. Dont be one of those people man. Good luck

I run Mobil1 ATF with Militec1. The synthetic fluid is a must for me but one Mustang I had, a short throw shifter fixed it; MGW
