How can i tell if i have a solid rear axel?

Got a 99 cobra and wondering how can I tell if my IRS was switched for an sra? Thanks

Just look at it if you have a solid itll have big tubes going out to the backing plates if you have irs you will have a uca and lca and spindles looking things its pretty obvious

I you have a split rear your exaust will most likely be under the IRS, 2 pipes side by side like this. Look how close the 2 pipes come together in between the rear wheels. This means you have an IRS.

You can install a IRS catback in a SRA equipped car no problem. Its actually a relatively common thing for ppl who have really aggressive suspension setups.

As whether to tell... just look under your car. If you have an IRS you'll have control arms, if you have a SRA you will have a big solid tube. It is literally a 5 second "oh I have X" check.
