96 Cobra which lowering springs for best compromise of height & ride quality?

I've got my money saved and I want to get my lowering springs bought and installed. I'm looking for the best compromise between ride height and ride quality. I want to see a difference from the too high factory stance, but I don't want the ride to be too stiff. A local shop told me the Ford Racing springs will only drop my car about an inch. He also said that he heard the OEM for FRP springs is Eibach. Any truth to that? I want to buy springs and new isolators and not just cut my original springs. I'm keeping all of my original parts in case someone, someday wants to put the car back to as delivered condition.

So what do you recommend? Thanks, Spiney-Dave

I would say check out eibach, or h&r springs for good ride and height. Eibach makes 3 different lines or levels of springs, a good shock/ strut combo makes huge difference when you change springs. LMR has package deals on springs n shocks

My '96 Mystic had H&R HO springs I replaced with stock height Moog progressives on back have the stock height front springs purchased to put back cut between the stock and H&R height. My opine is if ur lowering save more money go coil overs (adjustable ride height) or bag it or if u go the cheaper route make sure ur tires aren't too wide (285/35 18 are mine) if they are u might wanna have ur fenders rolled. I am going back closer to stock height because I just can't stand the A arms bottoming out on the frame aarrrggghhh anyways thats my two cents!
