Plasti dip and insurance question

So i called my insurance to ask if i plasti dip my car do i have to tell them my car is another color and all they said was, "what's plasti dip?" After explaining to the first guy i was transferred to another guy that asked me the same thing and still had no answer.
I know some of you plasti dipped the whole car so i was wondering if you had a problem with the insurance or did you have to let them know or got pulled over for having a different color?
Thanks in advance

I don't think anyone cares if you paint your car. My first mustang was midnight blue and now it's flat black primer. Gotten tickets and cops don't say anything

Cops don't say anything and since its not permanent, I don't think you need to let dmv know.

I just would have not let them know. They can't just not insure you because the color of your car.

That's racism!
