Driving '03 cobra cross country?

I am getting ready to buy my first cobra and will be driving it cross country and wondered if it would be safe to do so with a custom tune...I was just thinking about the changing elevations and worrying about going lean on the way home!
I would appreciate if any '03/'04 cobra owners could chime in and let me know what they think?

i've gone on a few big road trips where we had heavily built termis in our group travel without issues. We went from lower elevations to up in the Smokies for mountain passes.

I met a new termi owner while driving to amarillo from Fort Worth. He had bought his 20k mile termi down in Dallas and was taking it home to Montana. His was completely stock though... Right down to the supercharger belt cover. He said he'd had no problems so far when I asked how "she" was doing.

Good luck on your purchase

Your right about it being "just a car" but I'm just not familiar with the '03/'04's and how they react to elevation changes with custom tunes and a posi ported blower...
You wouldn't be afraid to drive your car Va to Tx.?

Not at all. I have a stage v steggy at 17 lbs and as long as I can find 93 octane i'm happy. I would recommend checking the tune once you get it home to be safe.
