Go ahead and get the tune checked to be safe.

Good platform to start, any future plans?

I'm going to take it to HPP in Dallas when I get back next week to get a tune and baseline then the mods are gonna fly!
Right now I have a little clutch chatter so the first step is an input shaft and McLeod twin disk then I'm going with the VMP...

---------- Post added at 08:20 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:17 AM ----------

Tvs with the GT500 throttlebody and inlet and supporting mods. That's about it other than staggered black saleen's

Very nice choices. Don't forget to upgrade the retainer while you're in there. You'll also want the firewall adjuster and quadrant with that clutch.

Thanks for the advise, I forgot about the retainer and bearing!
I'm gonna cut the cats out and weld in flow tubes and go with a Basanni stainless cat back/polished

---------- Post added at 08:41 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:38 AM ----------

Also deleting the pcv and going frangola, hose ends and catch can.

It's amazing how quick the parts start to add up.

What fuel system are you gonna go with?

They have the new handle setup for more adjustability now too. Have been watching it.

HPP has its own setup ...2000hp/E85 capable, double hat, Deka 80's, twin walboro 465's?! And star lite hoses.

Get a fulltiltboogie IRS kit on that thing while you are at it. Wheel hop at the higher power levels you are gong to can snap your halfshafts like twigs.

Or just ditch the weak irs for a built solid. I never have to worry about it again after being towed home twice.

Oh man that sucks...I'm kinda digging the ride with the IRS, I don't plan on tracking her ever so think ill run with my stock axles till I snap one (probably sooner than later with the TVS) then get some level 4's or 5's

---------- Post added at 01:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:36 PM ----------

I also forgot it has a billetflow IRS brace....I think that's it but don't hold me to it!

Wheel hop snaps the stock axles not big power. Labor for the ftb kit will be nuts. I suggest you pull it yourself and do it over a weekend.

I'm running Firestone fire hawks now so it just breaks loose and doesn't dig in enough for any wheel hop right now but once I get the saleen's and dr's I'll probably do like you said and pull it myself!
