Code P1506, :(

Whats up guys i finally solved my running lean and rich problem by replacing all 4 o2 sensors, all codes got deleted for a while, but when i checked the codes again one more popped up. Code p1506. Does someone know what i can do about this? Any input is appreciated, thank you.

It's a 97 cobra, if this helps any whenever i drive it no matter what speed i am going and i do a complete stop, the car idles at 1500 RPM for about 3-5 seconds and then slowly drops down to around 900.
So far i have replaced 2 IMRC top gaskets, intake manifold gasket, all 4 o2 sensors and EGR valve and gasket.

Check idle air control valve, MAF sensor, or check to make sure no vacuum leaks

All codes are gone, but the final problem came out from the dark. My bank 2 cats are bad. And now my car idles at 1100 when i do a full stop and if i give it some gas while on neutral my RPM's go all the way down to 800 and surge a bit until staying at 900 it feels like it's gonna stall. Any ideas?

I know it's expensive at $100 a pop, but change the oxygen sensors. Mine did the same thing, and after dumping a ton of money into changing sensors, it turns out to be the oxygen sensor.

Yea man i replaced all 4 already i bought some bosch sensors, but since my rear right catalytic converter is malfunctioning the o2 sensor behind it wont get any readings. I plugged in my scanner and i saw that one sensor staying at 0.0
You think that's my problem? I know the cat's are a pain

It's hard to say. I have a BBK H pipe with high flow cats, and I haven't had any problems after changing my O2 sensors. (Knock wood) I know how frustrating it is when they are not running right

Niice! I have the stock H pipe on mine. Do you know or were you able to pass smog with the high flow cats?

Did you get it worked out?

Here's the obd code site information about it, always found it to be the most useful

99 Ford Escort T. Codes: P1506, P0171 and P0420 : OBD-Codes.com

Thank you, p1506 is gone but the code for my cats went off and it will not get any readings from the o2 sensor behind the bad converter
