97 T45 to 99 T56 swap

So i found a good deal on a T56 and i need a transmission swap asap. Does anyone know if the cobra T56 will fit on my stock 97 cobra bell-housing? If not what modifications might be needed?

The t56 bell housing will fit your motor. Youll also need the t56 driveshaft or have yours shortened. Some say that the t45 crossmember wont fit with the t56 but it will. Why you swapping

So the t56 wont fit the t45 bellhousing? My t45 grinds when i give it a little gas but not when i hammer it and i dont know if it's normal but my shifter shakes alot when im on the freeway. On top of that it grinds if i put it straight to reverse i have to pop it in 1st then reverse. What would you recommend i do? Thank you for the input by the way

First id have a transmission shop check it out. Might be something cheap and easy to replace than buying a $2300 trans and a $500 clutch kit and a expensive driveshaft
