Would you go for it?

Found a 03 termi 67k for 16k the reason for being low price is the paint is in bad shape (it is) and usually if the outside isnt taken care of neither is the engine but its so hard to find a good deal on a termi. Im considering it, would you guys just walk away??

So it's going to need a new paint job? If so that's another 3k so you're looking at 19. Have you checked it out yet

You guys need to travel a bit. Either that or I need to ship my car to your area if I ever decide to sell it.

My 03 vert has 40k miles and i'd be lucky to get 21 out of it. One in that shape would be 13-14 tops here.

A clean mach will pull 15 or so.

Just buy cars in Texas. Haven't found them cheaper anywhere else.

Nice buy!

Just because the seller has a car advertised at a specific price, doesn't mean that is the price that they will receive...

I often wonder how many of these "low mileage" cars have had some of the miles "tuned out" via the revs per mile function on tuners.

You can look at a car and tell...miles don't dissappear from the chassis.

Thanks! Kinda fell into the deal actually, plus talked him down from 6800 due to the condition of the paint (looks like dog scratches all around).
I dunno about it being "tuned out" or not, but the carfax turned up clean with the mileage progression, so i dont think so.
Its my first mustang, and lordy i do love it. Now i wants me a termi

My first Mustang also. It's like my typical choice in women... High maintenance, expensive to keep around, but a hell of a lot of fun!!!

I was more referring to the cars that have been tuned, obviously, from day one. I saw an extremely low mileage Cobra, recently, where the chassis wear and the mileage didn't seem to match. In my eyes anyway. Lol.

Caveat Emptor

What area are you in where 16 with bad paint is a deal? I'm considering selling my 03 10th anniversary terminator.
