1996 cobra surging idle.

Hi guys I have a question I have a 96 cobra and it runs strong no problems when I'm driving but when I stop at a light it idles good for a few seconds then drops to about 500 rpms and surges it will not die but idles really low when I take off it does just fine. I can not figure out the problem and the car is giving me rich codes. I have checked for vacuum leaks and there are none . New idle air control valve new Maf new pcv valve and still the same thing. Could it be the o2 sensors my shop said they look stock. What do I do??

Thank you,
Carnell

Could be your O2 sensors, when's the last time you had your fuel filter replaced?

I would recommend testing for bad parts and not just replacing cause this could be expensive. Do you have a cel?

Yea I would stop just replacing parts, your wasting your money. Next time you get the code scan it and see what it says. If you haven't already.

Yea I don't think the o2 sensors were broken they were actually reading correctly. This might not be it but did you check out your tps?

Try this first to make sure it's got the right voltage going to it and is functioning period which it probably is. If it doesn't try to adjust if still no luck then replace.
