Does a t45 clutch fit a tko?

Whats up guys I'm getting my tko500 rebuilt and went online for a clutch.. I was kind of in a rush so I didn't notice I bought a ford racing clutch for a t45 😢. Will this clutch fit the tko?
The tko is a 10 spline. Thanks in advance

Thanks Scotty. It was a 10 spline but my mechanic had a 26 spline input shaft laying around so I took it. I'm going with a stage 2 king cobra

If it was free that is a steal. They are a $300 plus your core usually. Athough 26 spline input=26 spline clutch.

It was $50 plus my core which I don't mind at all. Yea I got the 26 spline king cobra clutch as well I'm pretty stoked! The tko was all sorts of messed up so I'm excited for this weekend

I was mostly scared the clutch was gonna be either too big or too small I can't find TKO specifications anywhere

Your 94 uses a 10.5" clutch because it had a 10.5" flywheel. Later 01-04 cars used a 11" clutch for their 11" flywheel so make sure you get the right one. Also make sure you get your flywheel resurfaced or get a new flywheel when you do the new clutch.

Aaah ok gotcha, I don't know how I didn't catch that lol. The 94 is an auto man she's just fine this is for my 97 cobra which I'm guessing is pretty much the same size. Do you think resurfacing my steel flywheel will affect me in anyway

You should always resurface when you do a new clutch and the 10.5" was used in 97 too.

Hello everyone. My Borg Warner in my 97 Cobra just took a big fat Borg Warner so now I'm putting a Tremec T45 in out of a 99 GT. I just dropped the Cobra off this morning the thing is, the motor was blown in the 99 GT
how likely is it that the trannys still good? Any thoughts?

Without driving it you are rolling the dice. Also the t45 is what came out of your 97 as well, they are all Borg warners (bought by tremec) until the 3650 in 2001. You will need an extended range speedcal though to convert the 99-up speedometer signal to 98-down as they are not compatible.

Where did you find a King Cobra Stage2 clutch kit? With it's discontinue status, it can be confusing. Alot of "King Cobra" clutches out there. Valeo used to manufacture it. Just curious.

My mechanic has a guy that had I think 3 left over in unopened boxes. It did say valeo on the clutch itself. They were telling me it was discontinued as well, I guess I just got real lucky
