Bbk catted x pipe question

What's up guys I need your help on this one, I found a Bbk catted x pipe online but itonly has 2 holes for o2 sensors and my 97 cobra has 4 o2's.
Can I use it with only 2 o2's or do I need MIL eliminations. Or what other suggestions do you have. Thanks in advance

You can place 2 new upstream sensors in at the top. MIL eliminators will work on secondaries & probably will need a wire tie to keep the wires out of the way in that area.
-Very strange to have only one set of bungs on a catted midpipe though.

Yea that's what I thought as well but the guy was trying to tell me it works fine with 2 and no eliminators, he even said it will pass smog with just 2 o2's hooked up.

After 95 they all had 4 o2 sensors. Look at the flanges that connect to the manifolds and see if they look the same or are mismatched. The 4.6 has a different style flange on the passengers side.

I'm pretty sure the 2 downstream sensors need to have exhaust flow across them to work correctly. They are referred to as "dummy" sensors but I think they need to be in line to operate.
So, it sounds like he welded in 2 hiflow cats himself and didn't install the after cat bungs. A real weld shop can put them in, no problem.

The cats look closer to the end of the mid pipe instead of being right behind the "x" so I'm guessing they were welded in. Thanks for the input rob
