Ah dang brother, I'm so sorry to hear. You're the second one that I've heard. Do not try to start it. Did water get inside? Do you have full coverage?

Oh my lord. If it didn't get inside, maybe it'll be okay brother. Just let it seriously dry out before you try even turning the key on.

Yes, I am in Texas also (south of Dallas) and these storms have been unreal for the last couple weeks and more to come every day. It was starting to flood in the area I usually have it parked. I ended up putting it up on ramps for now as I don't drive it in the rain anyway, so it put away for a while. Truck gets me around for now until this goes away.

Have you dried it out? Tried anything since?

Yeah bro, the water traveled through out all my pistons, i have to open up the surface and get the water out asap before it all intoxicates. It was all wet, sucks so bad. But i have connections with shops so it'll come out not as expensive.

sounds like the starter is soaked, let the whole car dry out, if you can cover it open everything you can to let it vent

Nope, thought it would be something minor but my whole engine is gone. The block broke cause had too much pressure coming from my intake 😔, my friend has connections with shops so he said he can find me a new engine fast and cheap with low miles.

You can send some of that water over to California. We would gladly take it.
