2003 Cobra Build

Going to start this thread so I can look back and see what I've done throughout its life with me.

So far I've just lowered the front with some H&R super sports

Right night now I'm about to lower the rear

I'm looking forward to seeing this car on the forum. You should change your name to fast4v.

Look really nice with the H&R springs.
I've been trying to buy a 5500 mile bone stock 2003 Cobra for a couple of months now.................looks like yours only the darker shade of gray.
Can't wait to see what you do next.

Those tail lights are too sexy. You need to take them off now.

I've got a question for ya. Just out of curiosity, are 96-98 cobra cams on the list for your car?

Added iso to rear springs to raise it up a bit. Can barely tell .. but it's higher now.

Customizing my vents before I get the urge to buy nice ones haha

Kind of curious as to why you use N/A cams on the blower motor.
If I had kept my 97 cobra longer that was on the list to change to keep up with the Kenny Bell supercharger.
Of course this was long before the 03/04 motors came out.

I guess my ole eyes are not what they used to be.........................now that you raised the rear it looks like you could raise the fronts about 1/4" and it would look perfect..................Maybe that's why I have 19's in front and 20's in the rear.
Not trying to be critical.................it is a very nice looking car!

98 cobra cams are a bang for the buck mod for mach 1 mostly .. a good 15-20rwhp gain from just slapping them on.

Just seems like a lot work for not much gain................would think if you were going to change all four cams it would be better to go with something that could add 20/30hp.

Sent from my SM-N910T using Mustang Evolution mobile app
Ok, thanks.
You do have a 03 Cobra.............right?
With your motor I wouldn't think they would be worth that much gain as in a N/A Mach1.

Looks good and I am digging the 99-01 tail lights on there! I sold my 03 Terminator last year and miss it dearly.

Thanks fellas ,

So far I've had to change the throw out bearing .. went with a national bearing which was been great so far.
Also added some new COBRA emblems in the rear , and got some borla irs pipes that I restored.. just waiting on some tips to throw on them , and I'll get them installed.

Nice start. What mods are on the car? Polished pipes are the only way to do the back.

So I ended up buying H&R sports because the spring setup I had just thrown in was just terrible.

Also added the 9/16 bolts to the rear irs to help with the clunking issue these cars have. 12mm is the original bolts.
