Long Tube Headers, how much HP gain?

I have a 99 Cobra n/a, how much hp can I expect to gain from changing from stock to long tube headers??
Which brand is better than the rest??

Headers on these dont add as much as desired around 10hp honestly alot of brands seem to be good just really depends on what sound and price your looking at...me personally i like kooks headers

Different brands will also result in hp but overall average ive personally only seen like 10hp increase

I dont know, I have heard that 35-45 hp gain from the stock manifolds to long tube headers. Anybody else heard different??

Lol maybe in the rags they claim those numbers. If all the other "supporting mods" are done you'll gain 10-15whp at the most from going to longtubes/shorty mid pipe.

The Terminator guys who know what they are doing generally don't swap the stock manifolds out until they move up from the Eaton to a KB/Whipple if that tells you anything. And as far as brand, Kooks or ARH or gtfo and for that price there are likely other things you can do that will add more HP. Heck, even finding an Eaton swap for a 99/01 Cobra can be done for the $1k-$1500 mark which is about what it will cost for the Kooks setup.

If you do want to gain power with headers, make sure they are legitimate equal length headers.

It matters, because physics.

Which would be Kooks or ARH. Or if you have a 05+ car you can save a bunch and go with Dynatech.
